Tuneup is the third installment of drum loops by Tim Baltes. The name is indicative of the tom and snare tuning – super high. Drumming style drifts between traditional drum breaks and Blakey-style jazz.

This set includes over 100 loops! And as with previous installments, there are two versions of each loop – one clean (V1) and one dirty (V2). Tuneup's V1 loops are very clean with almost no compression. This allows the user to color the drums any which way they please. V2 loops are dirty and ready to drop into any Roland SP for some gritty goodness.

Tim Baltes both played the drums and mixed the audio on Tuneup. Gear used includes a C&C Custom Drums Gladstone Series kit in their bop sizes with an 8-lug 14x6.5" C&C Black Beauty snare. All drums were outfitted with Remo drumheads and Snareweight products for adequate dampening. All cymbals heard are Zildjian, including a one-off 2016 24" K Constantinople ride, which really adds some character to the loops its present in.
